    Nuzest Recipes

    I am very fortunate to be able to create beautiful nutritious recipes for some of my favourite companies. Nuzest New Zealand asked me to create some gorgeous recipes using their clean lean protein powders.

    Antioxidant Smoothie Bowl:

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup frozen Blueberries
    • 1/2 cup frozen Raspberries
    • 5 fresh Strawberries
    • 1 Banana
    • 1 Scoop of Wild Strawberry NuZest Clean Lean Protein powder
    • 1 Tbsp melted coconut oil
    • Squeeze of lemon
    • 1 tsp Maqui powder
    • 1 tsp Camu Camu powder
    • 1/2 cup of Coconut water
    • Desired Toppings

    Directions

    Add all ingredients into a blender and process until thick and fluffy.
    Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings.

    Toppings: frozen or fresh berries, superfoods of your choice or add home-made muesli or granola

    Vanilla Protein Porridge:

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1/2 cup almond milk
    • 1 cup filtered water
    • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla paste
    • 1 scoop of Nuzest Clean Lean Protein in Smooth Vanilla
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/2 mashed banana (optional for a creamer porridge)

    Directions

    Add all ingredients into a pot and place over a medium heat. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5-7 minutes stirring as often as you can, until thick and creamy. Place your porridge into a bowl and add your toppings.

    Chocolate Protein Chia Pot:

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup coconut milk
    • 1 cup almond milk
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp cacao powder
    • 1 scoop of Nuzest Clean Lean Protein in Rich Chocolate
    • 1 banana
    • 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
    • 4 Tbsp chia seeds
    • Freeze dried raspberries
    • Coconut flakes
    • Pumpkin seeds
    • Sliced almonds
    • Frozen or fresh blueberries Toppings: Frozen raspberries and freeze dried raspberries; mix of coconut flakes, sliced almonds, flax seeds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds (or toppings of your choice

    Directions

    Add all ingredients except the chia seeds into a high speed blender and process until smooth. Add the chia seeds and pulse a few times so the chia seeds are completely mixed through. Pour the mixture evenly into a glass or jar and set in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours. Once fully set add your toppings (you can top with superfoods of your choice).
