    Matcha Bliss Balls

    Matcha powder may be quite new to many of you, but this superfood is fast becoming very popular due to its high levels of antioxidants, amino-acids and chlorophyll properties. Matcha is a special variety of green tea which has been stoneground into a fine powder. It is renowned for boosting your energy and mental focus, increasing your metabolism and so much more… Once you start to enjoy the taste of this unique powder you will be adding a sprinkling onto everything!

    With these green balls of goodness you will enjoy all the benefits of this amazing powerhouse combination of matcha powder and pistachio nuts. I know the will become a favourite bliss ball favourite. Matcha and Pistachio Bliss Balls

    ½ cup shelled pistachio nuts
    1 cup cashew nuts
    ½ cup shredded coconut
    1 tsp matcha powder
    1 Tbsp. extra virgin coconut oil
    1 Tbsp. coconut nectar syrup
    ¼ cup chopped shelled pistachio nuts for coating

    Place the nuts, shredded coconut and matcha powder into a food processor and process until you create a fine crumb.

    Add in the coconut oil and coconut nectar syrup and blend until the mixture starts to come together. It should be sticky enough to hold together.

    Remove the blade and take a small handful of the mixture and roll into balls.

    Roll your bliss balls in your chopped pistachio mixture or in some matcha powder
    Place in the fridge to set and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

    For my matcha powder I use only Matcha Matcha NZ matcha powder
